Hi. I’m Devon. I am a teacher of biology and lover of plants and birds and wildflowers and mountains and open spaces. Beginning in 2018, I am on sabbatical. Seven glorious months to travel and indulge my whims. I will be kicking it off with a grand South African adventure and returning home to hit the road! And, yes, that is a tarantula on my head…with the lovely Wind Wolves Preserve in the background. I will be using this space to reflect on my travel experiences and post pretty pictures.
